For the past two years we have hosted 70 people from the local community for a Christmas lunch in the Apiary. Working with the local parishes we create a ‘guestlist’ of those that would enjoy and benefit from an evening out. The event is funded by BioMed Realty and our whole Park team work together to serve dinner and drinks throughout the evening. It’s becoming a much loved new tradition for us and one we hope will continue for many years.

Each year we host a festival at the Park, with free tickets reserved for those who live in the village.

The festival, which invites our tenants and their families as well as members of the local community is a day filled with fantastic food and drink provided by local food trucks, plus brilliant live music from Cambridge based artists on the live stage. We are very fortunate to have a vast green space in the middle of the Estate, right next to the newly refurbished Clubhouse – the perfect space for a festival! 

The Abington Festival of Running is an annual event consisting of a 2K family run and 5K and 10K races. The courses start and end at the Park and we sponsor the event too, which raises funds for the local school, Great Abington Primary School.

In partnership with the community and Cambridgeshire Social Services we work with the local villages and all our tenants to gather in gifts and toys for children and young adults via our Give a Gift Campaign. Thanks to incredible support last year we collected 1,140 gifts which were delivered to those supported by Cambridgeshire Social Services. Each gift represents a moment of joy, a message of support and a reminder to these young people that their community cares about them.
